Before outlining the range of Health & Safety support services which we provide, it may be appropriate to mention some of the "attitudes" which we attempt to bring to our work.
Plain English
Since the Health and Safety At Work Act of 1974, there has been an endless stream of regulations, codes of practice, guidance notes etc. etc. While no one can disagree with the good intentions of the legislation, the language used is often that of the Civil Servant, Lawyer or Qualified Professional in this field. We work very hard to ensure that discussions with our clients are in plain English wherever possible.
Flexibility
We just do NOT have a fixed approach to the level of support provided to our clients. Some of our clients simply need an occasional independent view of their Health and Safety Management systems, while others expect Safety Measures to design and implement all of the required documentation.
A reminder also that a major factor, in terms of the cost of appropriate support, is the proportion of the work to be carried out by Safety Measures Ltd. staff as opposed to our client's staff in order to achieve maximum value from the use of external consultants.
"Hands On"
Consultants enjoy giving advice! Well, that is the easy part, and to be fair, we do quite a bit of that ourselves. One of the facts we have learned however over the last 12 years, is that compared with many of our competitors, we really do work alongside our clients in order to produce and implement the required systems and documentation.
